SUNY Potsdam is presenting a play about the Seaway story. The ‘lunge Campaign, written by Mason Smith, is a North Country love story set in the political turmoil of the building of the St. Lawrence Seaway, and the false hopes of many people that the Seaway would make St. Lawrence County prosperous. Performances are scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, April 22-24 and April 29-May 1 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m. All performances are in the College Theatre in Satterlee Hall. Tickets are $10 General Admission, $8 Faculty/Staff/Senior Citizens, and $5 for SUNY Potsdam Students and Youth. Tickets are available for pre-sale at the Community Performance Series Box office by calling 267-2277 and will also be available at the door.

I will be doing a book signing at the St. Lawrence University Brewer Bookstore in Canton, NY, this weekend--Saturday, April 24th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. I look forward to seeing some of my American readers and friends.

Everyone have a good week and a safe weekend.
