Leishman Point > Residents Sign Petition to Force Referendum

It will be up to the voters in Waddington on Oct 14th. to decide if the resolution should stand or not. A yes vote means the fight is over and the town will soon proceed with spending taxpayer money to develop the lots themselves. A NO vote means there is time to conduct a proper community planning process to determine what people think is best for the community (which is really what WRA has been asking for since the beginning). There are still many unanswered questions regarding the residential development. A NO vote will also allow for more time to sufficiently answer these questions.
